    I am originally from Long Island, New York.  As much as I love and miss my hometown of East Islip, the one thing I do not miss is the cold, the ice, shoveling my driveway, and sliding my way to work.  I replaced all that with palm trees, swimming pools, balmy nights, and theme parks.  Paradise!
